the name tabs at the bottom of each page, how can they be made big

I do not know how to make the tabs at the botton of my excel worksheets
larger. I do not know how they got so small, but I can hardly see them. I
have tried everything I know how to do, but I cannot get them to enlarge to
see the names of each worksheet in excel.

The only way you can change the size of text in the worksheet tabs is
to change your screen resolution. That you could do by right clicking
on a blank portion of your Desktop, select Properties from the pop-up
menu, click on the Settings tab in the dialog, and choose an
lower/lesser screen resolution.

Hi

You can only do it through a Windows-wide setting.
On your Windows desktop, right click on a blank area of the screen,
Properties>Appearance>Advanced>Scroll Bar> increase the size>Apply>OK

This is for Windows XP. The options were titled slightly differently I
seem to recall in earlier versions of Windows.
