The new email, and reply buttons are greyed out...

I am having problems with Outlook 2007. The buttons for "New", "Reply",
"Reply to All" and "Forward" are all greyed out. Not sure what is going on
but I can't reply or send emails.

Very frustrating. I've tried uninstalling and it won't let me. I've tried
reinstalling and it won't let me.

Any suggestions on how to fix would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Greg

Is your Office setup activated? Do you have a default email account installed?

What you did NOT mention is if Outlook 2007 was working before and
then stopped working. Did it ever work? If not, have you yet defined
an e-mail account in Outlook? You cannot receive and send e-mails
unless you define the existing account to which Outlook will connect.

Yes, Outlook was working just fine. I downloaded the trial version last week
and I am still getting my emails just fine. I just can't send or reply to
emails now. It's as if the trial version is already up but I thought I had 60
days b4 I had to buy.

No, not yet. I tried to activate it but when I click the activate button it
just sites there and does nothing.

Did you install a trial version of Office 2007? If so, was there
already an installation of a real version of Office on your host? If
so, did that real install include Outlook? You cannot have more than
one instance of Outlook installed at a time on a host.

Was this trial version ever installed before? THAT is from when the
trial period is measured.
