Outlook 2002 running on Vista Business - connecting to Exchange 2003

When ever the user tried to open an email with an email attached, they
get a popup - "Can't open this item. The object is invalid". This only
happens to this user on this PC. The user can logon to a different PC
and open the emails no problem.

Google Desktop (and all other Google programs have been uninstalled.)
Office Suite has been uninstalled - CCleaner ran - and reinstalled.

I believe something in the users profile on this PC is causing the
problem but cannot find it for the life of me.

Thanks in advance - any suggestions welcome.

All bets are off with that combination. Outlook 2002 is not compatible with
Vista.

So I am told, but I have had it running on a dozen Vista PC's for a year
and a half with no problems. This problem started when the user
installed Google Desktop (5.5). The user uninstalled Google Desktop but
the problem did not go away. I strongly suspect that upgrading will not
fix the problem. Since this is only happening in this users profile, do
you think blowing away the users profile and re-creating it will fix it?
