"the operation failed" when trying to send

i just installed office 2003 and all works fine with the exception of composing a 'new' msg and attempting to send ... i rcv the msg -- "the operation failed" any thoughts/suggestions. thanks, ot

I have the same problem after installing Office 2003. I get an error message that an object cannot be found whenever I try to send or receive mail.
