The "Page # of #" looks right on the screen but prints wrong

When I insert a footer with the function "Page # of #" it looks OK on the
screen but it prints wrong; instead of Page 1 of 5, Page 2 of 5, etc, I get
Page 1 of 1, Page 2 of 2, etc.

WHat should I do??
