the phone selector buttons (X4) does no more work in the new or e.

All of a sudden, clicking on the phone selector button does not work (new or
edit contact windows). All other selector buttons (i.e. home address) work
fine. I did not install any 3rd party prg affecting Outlook. Cause? Any
suggestion most welcome. Thanks for the help
