I've created a union query in Access 2003 and the pivot table from that query
is almost exactly what I want. However, when I export the pivot table to
Excel 2003, all of the information in the data section turns to numbers. For
example, the pivot table is a grid showing the day and time a class meets.
When converted to Excel, the table only shows how many, not what, classes
meet at each day/time intersection.
I've already tried importing the data into Excel through Microsoft Query so
I can make it an OLAP cube - no dice. Because I'm importing the information
from a union query I don't have any additional parameters to assign and
Microsoft Query insists it needs 4 parameters to generate a query.
I'm really new to all of this and really frustrated.
