the red x matrix..?

using publisher 2003 , i link my images then i save my pub file as a web
page an rename it index.html. But when i visit my site via the internet all i
see is red x's where the image is supposed to be. yes i also upload my images
but those red x's are still there. Should i upload the images from the
seperate folder that the publication made for me when i saved the pub file as
an html ? I transfer my files to the host via ws_ftp pro , could that be the
problem?

Publishing should always be done with Publisher and not a 3rd party client.
That guarantees the site is loaded correctly. If you need directions in doing
