the ruler arrows is gone

newbie of office 2003

i using office 2003, and i facing a ruler arrows(small arrows that we can
arrage our words) is gone and i cant event do my school work.

plz help how to turn it back to normal.

I think you'll have to give us a better description. I know of no arrows on
any ruler that help you arrange words.
