The save failed due to out of memory or disk space

Hello everyone,

I have a user who keeps getting the error message "The save failed due
to out of memory or disk space" when she tries to save in Microsoft
Word 2003 (Win XP SP2). Autosave also fails.

This error doesn't make any sense, because neither user's quota on the
server is full nor is the C:\ Drive full. The user has permission to
save to both of these places.

I have looked at Microsoft KB Article

However, I am not running Veritas Remote Agent on that computer. I am
running it on the server though. I have also uninstalled and
reinstalled Office 2003 and have applied all the updates and service
packs.

Any Ideas?

Did you get any replies for this post yet? I have the exact same problem as
you. And I have no idea what else to do.

I am having the same problem (Office applications will not save t
mapped network drives) and I do not have Vertias running anywhere on m
network. Does anyone know how to fix this?
