the Search Key was not founrd for any record

I am trying to split a database. When I do, I get a dialog box that states
the Search Key was not founrd for any record
Access creates the _be database without the tables. What am I missing?

I am sorry but I forgot a couple of details. I am running VISTA and Access
2007. The doc states that I alread have the latest version

Could be a sign of corruption. Try importing the MDB into a new MDB
and respliting.
