The server threw and exception

When my user attempts to email a worksheet from Excel. She
receives an error message " The server threw an
exception". She is using a distribution list in the To:
field.

Most likely the server has some kind of plugin installed (such as a spam
filter or virus checker) which is malfunctioning. You have to get someone
who is competent in administering Exchange Server to check it out. It is
not a problem with Excel.

Jonathan,

Actually I was able to resolve it. I had her created a
new distribution list with the same email addresses but
rename the list. She used the new distribution list and
this worked. She did not receive the error and the email
went through. The distribution list must have been
corrupted. Thanks for your suggestions.
