When I try to "Open Web" http://localhost I get the error "the server
unexpectedly closed the connection"

Try http://localhost/ or http://yourmachinename/ if you have assigned one
If you still get errors check your permissions in the IIS MMC

Thanks for replying Stefan.

I solved this problem by uninstalling office and reinstalling it. I was able
to keep my settings (mail) and was able to get FrontPage to connect to
localhost.
