The text and links on my navigation bar buttons does not appear

In Publisher 2007 I have had a web design working for almaost a year.
Recently I went to the page and noticed that the Main Navigation Bar text and
links have dissappeared. In tyhe disign mode the links work but when I ask to
look at it in web mode they now vanish. I recently updated to IE 8 - is this
my problem?

Create a web site with nav bars etc.
Saved web site as "My web site.pub"
With the pub page open
Ctrl a (selects all)

Arrange > Ungroup

This insures that all groups are ungrouped
This must be done on ALL pages individually
Re-Saved using Save As "My web site NBUG.pub"
I take the step to "Save As" so that when I shut down publisher and I get a
prompt to save my changes I do NOT overwrite the master file "My web
site.pub" accidentally.
Publish to the web
FTP to the server
Web site works using IE 8

If a change, update is required or a page is added
Open with "My web site.pub"
Make changes
Follow the above suggestions
BTW NBUG = "Nav Bars Un Grouped"

Spike's answer is correct, but to explain a bit more: Reference: Navigation
bars and other content is missing from Publisher HTML output in Internet
Explorer 8: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/969705

Also, be aware that the Office 2007 SP2 is due out before the end of the
month, and it sounds like it might provide a fix for this for Pub2007. Pub
2003 users may have to live with the 'ungrouping' fix.

I just uploaded my web site to microsoft live and everything works except all
the links back to the home page.

Please tell us what version of Publisher and IE you are using, and provide a
link to your site and perhaps then we will be able to help you.
