The ultimate complete full install.

I'd like to get a complete Office install.

As we all know, selecting "complete install" doesn't give
you a complete install of all features.

I never want to get the message "please insert the Office
CD" again. It always happens when I'm 1000 miles away on
a business trip.

For Windows XP the trick is to copy the CAB files on the
CD onto your hard drive and then do a registry tweak.

Is there a similar trick for Office (I'm using Office
2003)?

Copy the entire CD to your hard drive and install from there. However,
using a custom installation from the CD and electing to install everything
should work, especially if you elect to leave the installation files on your
hard drive.

I don't think what you suggest works.

I still contend that a complete install "is Not" a
complete install.

Some items on the CD are not installed.
Simply copying the CD to the HD is not the solution.
There must be a registry tweak also.

My problem is I don't know that tweak.

Any experts in this out there.
