Hi,
I'm sure I've seen this before but can't seem to find an answer to it.
I have an Access 97 database which has several forms that can be
viewed by form or datasheet. If I apply a query to these forms in
datasheet view, then move to work on another application altogether,
any time I hit a function key in the other application the taskbar
icon for Access flashes. When I return to Access I am met with the
error "The value you entered isn't valid for this field."
If I apply the filter in form view I don't have the problem.
Can anyone give me a clue as to what could be happening to make
keystrokes cross application boundaries like this? I know it's not
life-threatening but it is a bit embarassing when I can't explain it
to users.
Thanks.
Joan
