Hello.
I have a serious problem!
I have Word 2003 and Outlook 2003 and in both software the "@" Key
will not work!
It work in all other Windows XP programs but not in those two.
I can't comprehend why and I wonder if there is a particular keyboard
mapping that avoid it to work.

To let the "@" appear in any other program under Win XP in my pc I
have to push "CTRL+ALT+@"
Probably Word map this combination in a way that will not work.

There is anyone of you who can help me out?

Anytime I have to insert an email address I have to go to any other
prog then create the "@" then copy it and past it!!
Absurd!

Hope you can help me.
Thank You
Regards

Well shift+@ should work in all applications, so if you have to use
Ctrl+Alt+@ you must be using a strange language keyboard? What is your
default language?

Have you tried Insert, Symbol and does that insert the @ correctly?

I have a MacBook Pro with XP on it.
I ended up remapping the keyboard using Microsoft Keyboard Layout
Creator 1.4 so I swapped the Ctrl+Alt+@ with Shift+@ and it work.
Otherwise will not work.
The Keyboard is called by the system Apple Keyboard.
I've read that many have posted this question in various forums but
no reply was gived.

Thank You for your reply

There is a Mac specific NG for Word where you may get a better informed
reply.

Sorry, but I use Windows not Apple OS on a MAC.
I think this is the best place where to post.
Who use MAC OS does not know anything about Windows XP problems on
MAC.
Anyway I solved my way.
Thank You :)
