Themes & Link Bar Settings

I am using FP 2003 and using themes. I have the link bars set to vertical and they appear bunched up (to close together) Is there is a way to adjust the space between the link bars in the vertical setting. I have tried everythink I can find and nothing I try will allow me to change the spacing

You need to modify the theme images to add "white space" or transparent space
