In FrontPage, select Help and then Detect and Repair.
Or reinstall FrontPage and do a custom install and reinstall
the themes.

Have you checked the _themes folder inside your
web to ensure the components are there.

I uninstalled and reinstalled FULL.... my FP2002

and still.... I can't get my theme to show online

now I changed it again... and the last one is stuck there AND still not even
showing all the theme buttons and banners..

bUT I changed it to a whole new theme anywhere... WHERE IS IT?

S

Suga

I cannot find a _themes folder anywhere!

I really need to figure this out. it is a mess!

if I am missing it -- where do I look?

if I lost it -- how EXACTLY do I get it back (FP2002 NOVICE)

In your web, both local and online.
In folder veiw you should see a _themes
folder and a _derived folder.

You may have to remove your theme, save the web pages
and then reopen and reapply the theme, then publish.

S

Suga

ok... I looked and didn't see it... would the folder be a top level? like
same level as images and fpdb et.c.....

I am going to remove the theme by setting themes to NONE -- right?

then save the WEB

close the web and open it again and then apply new theme?

S

Steve Easton

It should be right there in your root web directory
alonfg with your images and _private folders

The _derived folder is permanently hidden within FrontPage. However the
(normally hidden) _overlay folder will be visible.
To see hidden folders do Tools - Web Settings [wording may vary according to
version of FP]
On the Advanced Tag tick the "View Hidden Folders and Files" box.
