Themes not showing up

J

Josh Sawyer

I have been using a web site that was created in front page for a long time.
I have decided that I need to update a few things on the site. I connected
to the remote sight and downloaded all the files so that I can work on them
at home. the problem is that the theme background is gone on my copy. I
pulled all of the files down from the site am I missing something?

TIA
Josh

How did you "download" all the files?

I suspect it depends on your version of FP having that theme.

Also just copying the files down to your machine is not going to work,
essentially you need to fully publish the files from remote to local computer.

Publishing will then copy all the FP hidden files (themes etc) along with the
standard files and images.

I connected to the remote site with FP and just used the remote site button
on the bottom of the page, highlighted all the folders and files and moved
them to my local directory.

*How* did you move them?

I suspect it depends on your version of FP having that theme.

Not if you publish back to your PC from a FP enabled server, the theme will be transferred.
