themes - size

I have been downloading various themes from Microsoft Office Online to use
with PowerPoint and am finding that many of them are over 1 megabyte in size.
Is there a way to download these files and then reduce their size?

Right-click on the file and select:
Send To > Compressed (zipped) Folder.

Could you supply a link to the specific themes you've noticed with the large
size? It could be due to any number of things, but I'm happy to take a
look....

Quick followup -- I can't locate a theme on Office Online that's bigger than
about 800kb, and then only one. Most are in the 100kb or smaller range.
