Themes: Where are the Buttons and Graphics ?

S

Susutea

Hi,

I started a "New Page" in Front page, and then went into Design Mode,
and then tried to Add a "Theme". I clicked on Format on top, and then
"Theme" which came up with a list of many different Thumbnail Themes for my
Page. The Themes appear to have many Navigation Buttons and Menus on the
Theme itself , However, when I applied the Theme to my Page, ONLY the
Background Showed up., No Buttons, No Menus, No Navigation Buttons etc.,
What happened to all the Graphics in The Theme. I tried everything, but
only the Background was applied to my New Page. How do I get the "Entire"
Theme on my page ? Thanks, Susu

After you have applied a theme, you must then build a navigation structure under Navigation View for
your site.

Your buttons will have been automatically saved in a folder on your site.
From this folder you can then insert them into your documents. The folder
may even name itself "Themes".
Good Luck.

No. Any Buttons in the _themes/themename folder are plain, with no
text, and not useful for navigation.
See Thomas Rowe's response.
