There are no files in this folder & server timed out

Sam

Thanks for the reply re the messages "there are no files in this folder" and "server timed out". I spoke to my ISP when the problem occurred. They say it is a problem with FrontPage and not their server. The messages are coming up when I am working in the laptop without any internet connection. Any further ideas or help would be appreciated.

If you plan to work on your site without being connected,
you need to publish a complete copy onto your computer in
advance, when you *are* connected. For example:

1. Connect to the Internet.
2. Open your live Web site.
3. Choose Publish Web from the File menu.
4. Specify a location on your local disk, such as
C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\
My Documents\My Webs\sitename
5. To work on your Web, open the disk-based Web you
created in step 4.
6. To send changes back to your live server, open
your local copy in FrontPage, choose Publish Web
from the File menu, and specify the live Web's
URL as the destination.
