I selected File-Publish. The dialog came up to create the workspace and I
clicked OK. Nothing happened after that. Help!

Try and publish the project without the underscore in the title. Does this
fix it ?

Let me know

I have a similar situation.

I, too, had:

0x0A70 Windows SharePoint Services
Topology
0 Medium Adding DOMAIN\APPPOOLACCOUNT to local
group 0.
04/15/2008 07:58:22.61 OWSTIMER.EXE (0x0A54)
0x0A70 Windows SharePoint Services
Topology
0 Medium Adding DOMAIN\APPPOOLACCOUNT to local
group 2.

over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over...

So I used the:

stsadm.exe -o updatefarmcredentials

to create a farm account: DOMAIN\FARMACCOUNT

Then crazyness hit the ULS till I added DOMAIN\FARMACCOUNT as db_owner
to every single database in SQL.

I no longer get the add account over, and over...and over, and
over...and over, and over...

However, it's till running that recently used trim routine (entering
MRU trim routine) every second, and I can't figure out why........
