There isn't enough free memory to update the display

Ben

I am getting this error very often with an access 97
database running on a windows xp machine. "There isn't
enough free memory to update the display. close unneeded
programs and try again." This PC is an P4 with 512mb ram.
What could be causing this? Any help is appreciated.

If you have been opening and closing a number of programs/databases, etc. ,
you will find that Windows sometimes loses its way.

Re-Boot.

Good luck.
