This is a test, right?!<g> After all, we're not there, we can't see your
PC, we don't know what you're doing.

I mean, "my vehicle makes a funny sound -- tell me what's wrong" will get a
thousand (!WRONG!) suggestions as folks try to guess.

If you want specific suggestions, provide some specific information.

Or was this just a test?...

First idea --
Give us some more information.

What version of Access?
When does it happen? (On opening the database,When running a certain
report, etc.)
What happens when you acknowledge the message? (Access quits, Blue screen
of death, etc)

Sorry for lack of information. Added post in a hurry this morning.
The version of Access is 2002 SP3. The error happens when you try t
open the database from a template. After you press ok to the error, i
does nothing. leaves you at the page you where at.

The OS is Windows XP, the database runs on other PCs without a problem
other databases I've tried also don't run on the problem PC

Well--- I really don't know what the problem might be, but at least you've
given a bit more detail and perhaps you can get an answer. If this thread
stays dead, I suggest you repost with at least the details you have posted
in your second post.
