there's a line at the bottom of page Why?

I know I'm doing something stupid but I have a bold line at the bottom of
page 7 on a document and can't get rid of it.
I can't click on it. If I line up my cursor it becomes a tee and I can move
it an inch.
I had this happen once before at the bottom of a fax cover sheet but never
followed up on it because it was unimportant. Now however this line is
sticking out like a sore thumb. I have had no problems with 1 and 2 page
letters.

Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
