This document could not be registered. Error

"This document could not be registered. It will not be possible to create
links from other documents to this document."

I am getting this error every time I am opening a document in Word 2003.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this.

Hi,

Try renaming the file 'officeav.dll' and restart the machine and try again.
Also, check for the error when you open Word through Start> Run> winword /a
