This is a bug?

Hi,

I try to print a report "Who Does What When" with only one
ressource. I use a filter in the report option to show
only one resource but when I print the report, tasks are
not printed. I think this is a bug.

Anybody know how to print a report with only one resource
with all assignment?

Thanks,
Mario

Hi Mario,

Welcome to the Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

I don't have any problems. How do you chose a filter and what filter are
you choosing? Is the Print Preview showing what you want? Is it just the
Task Names that are not showing - are the IDs there?

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: <http://www.mvps.org/project/>

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on:)

Try this; View/Reports.../Assignments.../SINGLE click on Who does what
when/Edit.../Filter: Resource range.../OK/Select. Now Project is asking for
the ID of your resource. As you have only one resource, enter 1 in the top
box and 1 in the bottom box/OK.
That should work.

For me, that doesn't work. Project print resources that I
want but it doesn't print tasks of selected users. I have
this problems with many computers, not only one.

When I print with no filter, project print all user with
all task without problem but when I print with any filter
users are not expanded and it print users without task.

It's very bizarre

Thanks,

Hi Mario.

It works OK on my setup. Does it show up correctly in Print preview? If
yes, then update your printer driver. Try it with a new project. If it
works as I described then your project may be corrupt. If it does not work
with a new project then Project may be corrupt - try re-installing Project.

The print preview is not correct and I have this problem
with every project on every computer in my company

I don't understand why you're not able to reproduce the
same thing.

The print preview show only the resources range with no
task. It show only the summary of all task and it doesn't
show all task of each user.

Anyway let me know if you have any suggestion for me.

Thanks you very much for your support.

I found a solution...I have created a new filter. I have
copied the resource - work and added ressource range... to
the filter

Everything work fine.

Thanks you for your support!
