"This is not allowed in this context"

After attaching well-formed and valid xsd's to my document, I am able to successfully tag most text. Some of the text however, when tagged, shows "This is not allowed in this context" error in the xml structure in the task pane. Any ideas what is wrong or how I can fix it?
