This Modification not allowed.... error

My client bought a computer with a trial version of MS Office Home and
Student and after about a week he decided to pay for a licence. He entered
the code into the activation box and hit install and was told the it ws
successfully configured. Suddenly he is unable to type or edit in any way.

What would be the point of buying a licence if it doesn't work?

I have the MLK PE and a reinstall does not work. You can enter the Key all
you want but it will not unlock!

Any ideas?

Your client's HSE key will not work with your MLK PE.
