This newsgroup not being archived by google groups?

I created a post today for this newsgroup and
access.developers.toolkitode, but as far as my newsreader shows, that
post did not make it here (it did go to .toolkit). I tried checking to
see if it did make it here via google groups, and was surprised to see
that gg is capturing almost none of the traffic on this newgroup. Does
anyone know what the scoop is with that?

google groups was an important resource for years, since they bought
deja news, but that won't be true if they're not archiving active and
useful newsgroups like this one. Search results have also degraded in
tha last half year or year too.

I have not contacted google about archiving this newsgroup, because I
found that they're completely not there as far as tech support goes,
even for their paying products. Microsoft does a slightly better job at
customer service than google, in my experience...imagine that.

Google Groups is archiving messages in this group. I see all 3 of your posts.

I wish there was another search service for the groups. Google Groups used
to be pretty good and fast. It's been getting progressively worse for
pulling matches the last 3 years. Now it's faster - but it's useless when it
pulls threads from every group but Access when the search is set for only the
Access groups.

At least a couple of folks have suggested that Google Groups works better (not
perfectly but better) if you specify just one specific group rather than using
microsoft.public.access.* in the Advanced search. Worth a try anyway.

It would be nice if Microsoft allowed decent searching of their own news
server... :-{(

Don't use that one. It's active but it really shouldn't be. Mostly spammers.

Good; and thanks. For some reason I have the url bookmarked differently,
in some format that excludes most msgs - like so:

http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.office.access.formscodin
g/topics?hl=en&lnk
Google Groups is archiving messages in this group. I see all 3 of your posts.

Oh man I didn't even see that .office. in there. Thanks; I know better!
I had the bookmark for that sans the .office.
