I am trying to find a way to track activity on a particular task - kind of
like Journal, but that doesn't quite do what I want. This is all in Outlook
2003
I am trying to find a contractor to do a certain kind of specialized work.
I check the Yellow Pages and find a list of ten contractors in the right
category.
What is the best way to:
Set up 10 tasks to call the each contractor and record the results of the
call.
Sometimes a contractor will tell me to call somebody else so I need a quick
and easy way to generate a new task but keep track of the thread of
activity.
Sometimes a contractor will flat out decline the work.
Sometimes a contractor will agree to submit a bid, which I need to flag for
followup.
Then I need a way to view at a glance what has been done so far and what
still needs followup.
What is the best way to manage this?
