Hey ther gang
I know this has been discussed to death in the newsgroup, but I have a
problem that I know has a logical anwser. The Thumbs.db file keep
regenerating in my local folder, I can't see the file in FP floder view (i
even have the show all option check) but I think its as a result of the file
being generated org in PPT... So I so to the explorer view to delete the
darn file and done and done however when I go back to fp to publish their
back so I go back to exp which I think is where they are being regend, what
to do what to do???

Help TIA

#1 Avoid opening folders that contain your web content outside of FP in Windows Explorer or My
Computer.

or

#2 Under Windows Explorer / My Computer, Tools | Folder Options | View and check the option "Do not
cache thumbnails" However this will apply to all folders on your machine.

thumbs.db will regenerate every time you view files using the thumbnail view in my computer or windows explorer
Select the do not cache option in explorer/folder options/view/do not cache thumbnails
Then do a search for thumbs.db on your local machine and delete them all. When you publish using changed pages only, fp will ask you if you want to delete the files from the server, answer yes. THEY'RE GONE TO CYBER HEAVEN!
