Does anyone know how to thumbnail a video clip? I want to be able to click
on a thumbnail of a specific .wmv file and link it to the actual .wmv
clip/file?

thanks

I don't think it can be done....

Can you capture a frame of the movie (like you'd do of a dvd on a dvd-rom
drive) where you get one still-frame from the movie.
You could then use this as the link.

I don't think you can have a "mini" version of the actual movie running and
have that as the link.

Thumbnails usually refer to the small versions of a still image/photograph.

You could run the movie, do a screen capture of the whole screen or window
(Print-Scr key for whole screen Alt-Printscr for the active window eg the
movie player window) and paste it to your graphics editor, then crop it to
suit your needs.

Save it as a jpg and import it into the web, insert it on the page and
create the link to the actual movie file.
