Thumbnail pictures to Power Point

Powerpoint newbie

Quick question, is it possible to add thumbnail pictures to a powerpoint
presentation.
Friend would like to have presentation done with hyperlinks to different
pages, and would like to use large amount of pictures. In order to compact
as many pictures on a slide we would like to use thumbnails, that will
enlarge when clicked on.
thanks in advance for any help.

One way is to create (in an image editor) two versions of each picture - - one
of normal size and one of thumbnail size. Use the latter on your thumbnail page
and put each of the normal sized images on their own pages. Link each of the
thumbnail images to the applicable photo slide using Slide Show > Action
Settings > Hyperlink To > Slide #.

Just a suggestion for your image editing,
You can also consider using the Picture tool in PPT to create a thumbnail.
When you click on a picture, a tool should automatically popup.
You can first reduce the size of the image a little, then use crop to crop
away some part of the images so it looks like a thumbnail.

Hey! I never said that size doesn't matter. Oh, you were talking about
presentations. Nevermind.
