Thumbnail question

Hi,
After creating a Thumbnail in FP 2002, when I try to later add a Caption in
Thumbnail properties, the properties screen locks and hangs.

I get a message 'Generating Thumbnails for Gallery' and a complete progress
bar but that's it, it has locked up.

Anyone else get this or know why it may be happening?
