.Thumbs.db.tmp error when publishing!

Matthew

For months, I have overcome this problem by running a
Search for *thumbs.*, and deleting every found file -
then Presto! I publish perfectly. =}

Recently (three days), I have not met with success using
this simple resolution. I resorted to opening every file
on my source & destination webs in futile search of the
offender, to no avail. ={

I have tried variations on the search string, and myriad
other creative (or at least I think so...) approaches,
and I still get the following error (yes, I am
intentionally publishing everything - not just changed
pages):

"Server error: The server extensions were unable to
access the file ".Thumbs.db.tmp". Please check the file
permissions."

Well, if I could find the file to check the permissions,
I would just delete it! Are there permissions for FPSE
2002 I can adjust to override this condition? The last
thing I recall having done that might be related was
responding to the Server prompt to "Tighten security as
much as possible." It seemed like a good idea at the
time....

Phugma!

Thanks in advance,

Matthew

In the future, DO NOT view your local copy of the web using
windows explorer. Do all of you image work outside of the
wb and then import the images. This will eliminate
thumbs.db from coming back
