It's something to do with windows 2000+ I think ... it just makes a db of
thumbnails that you have viewed it's nothing to worry about ... if you
delete after the next time you view thumbnails in fp it will be recreated
.... but you could mark it don't publish ..though if view thumbnails live it
will be made on the server... I think..

Thumbs.db is a cache of thumbnails of images in a folder you have viewed in
Windows Explorer in thumbnail view, and has no place in a website.

In Windows Explorer, use Tools->Folder Options
On the View Tab, tick the box "Do not cache thumbnails". (you may need to
apply to all folders). Windows will not create or update any further copies
of Thumbs.db, but display of thumbnails may be slower - though the
difference in sped is probably insignificant.

Then, in FrontPage with the web open, delete all instances of Thumbs.db.

Tina, the thumbs.db files will also appear in Windows XP and I believe
Windows 98 (although Win98 might require an add-on).

Reply only to group - emails will be deleted unread.

I shall have to wait for longhorn then;) I wonder if it would take a don't
publish command and keep it?
