Thumbs.db

I realized that somehow I got a file called Thumbs.db in my Front Pag
folder I have been trying to delete it so many times and it keep
appearing after I open the file again.

I was expecting Ad-Aware SE to detect it and get rid of it but i
didn't work.

I wonder if it is saved to keep it there or I should remove it. If
need to remove it what tool should I get.

THANKS in advance for any kind support on this issue.

God bless, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2006!

It's created when you browse to a folder using windows.
To stop it from being created, double click My computer, click Tools select
Folder Options
click the View tab and in the list that shows make sure "Do not cache
thumbnails is checked.
Click OK, close My computer and then delete the thumbs.db files.

THANK YOU!!!

I got the response to both of my questions from you. I did the one fo
the Thums.db one already and it worked. I still wonder if it was
marketing spy though.

I have not done the FP full install yet. I'll do it ASAP!

I would like to take the opportunity to ask something else... squeez
me if I am being a pain... One of my web sites has an audio file an
also a time script but for curiousity I tested it in a Mozilla Firefo
and it doesn't have sound and the time is not showing either.

Do you happen to have any feedback for that??

Again, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALL YOUR KIND SUPPORT, GOD BLESS YOU AN
THE ONES YOU LOVE... AND MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Thumbs,db is not a marketing spy.
It's what windows uses to more rapidly display files as thumbnail images, to
make them display faster
when you open a folder.
