Several of my users have been accepting appointments
without sending responses. In doing so, they fail to
create an item that can be searched when looking at
Attendee Availability. There is however a meeting item
created on their Calendar. Why can't this time be seen as
busy even though the recipient didn't send a response.
Can be re-created by using the following example:
Jim sent an appointment to Suzy. Suzy accepted the
appointment without sending a response. Jim opens the
apointment in his calendar and can see that no responses
have been received (banner at top of appointment). When
looking at the Attendee availability tab and
selecting "Show Attendee Availability", Suzy's calendar
shows no appointment for that time even though she
accepted the meeting and booked the time as busy.
Furthermore, Suzy's Calendar view from her machine shows
the appropriate Calendar item.
