Time format

I'm trying to create an office rota and I want employees to be able to
enter their start and end times in the format hh.mm eg 17.30 instead
of the standard 17:30. Any ideas?

Hi Paul,

Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)

On Error GoTo ws_exit:
Application.EnableEvents = False
If Not Intersect(Target, Me.Range("A1:A10")) Is Nothing Then
With Target
.Value = Int(.Value) / 24 + _
(.Value - Int(.Value)) * 100 / 1440
.FormatNumber = "hh:mm"
End With
End If

ws_exit:
Application.EnableEvents = True
End Sub

'This is worksheet event code, which means that it needs to be
'placed in the appropriate worksheet code module, not a standard
'code module. To do this, right-click on the sheet tab, select
'the View Code option from the menu, and paste the code in.

Hi Bob,

Thanks a lot for your help, that code seems to work perfectly.

Thanks again.
