Time Reporting - "Top Level"

I've been reading and see that billing time to the project name (top level)
seems to prevent view the time billed in the MSP_Project_Timesheet cube. Is
there anyway to extract this time to view it against the planned work? I'd
rather not force my organization to report everything at the task level.
I've also started collecting data from weeks prior at the top level and can't
seem to access it except in the TimeSheet cube.

Ideas? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

We use SRS (SQL Reporting Services) reports to get this data and compare
against planned.
It will take some skill in writing queries to make this work though.

Thanks, so basically if you don't report on the task level you're stuck with
custom needs. i have to say boo on that.
