Time sheet notification issue

R

Ryan Miller

Good Morning:

We are using Project Server 2003 w/ STS 2.0 on a W2k3
server.

The issue we are having is that after locking down time
periods (having only the current week and previous week
open), our resources see a notification on thier home page
saying that they did not submit thier timesheet despite
the fact that they did.

I have tested this by entering a value for each day for
each task, etc and it still will not turn off.

Does anyone know what is triggering this and how to turn
it off?

Thank you for your assistance.

Ryan,

I don't know if this is a comfort or a concern, but in my
project we experienced the same issue as of today.
When a time period has been closed down, the home page
still states that there are resources with unsubmitted
timesheets for the previous period despite they all have
submitted their hours...
I've tried to go to the adjust actuals page to enter some
values there as well, still no result. It just won't
disappear...

Please post any solution to this issue...

Cheers,

Jørgen

I do believe that both you and Jørgen have stumbled across a production bug.
There's no KB article on this but you can obtain a fix from Microsoft
Support by asking for Hotfix #9544/
