Time showing in the inbox

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I've just purchased a Macbook, 2.4 processor with Office 2008 loaded by me. I have set the date and time in Mac preferences manually to New Zealand standard time (GMT +12 hours). I have set the time in Entourage to the Auckland/Wellington option. All of my inbox emails are showing a time some 12 hours earlier than the actual time they were received, but my sent items are showing the correct local time. No matter what I try, I can't get the inbox times to match the sent items times and when I do any kind of sync it throws all of my appointments out by the 12 hours and also duplicates any which fall across a midnight change of day. Its getting pretty annoying - anybody got any answers!!

Why would you use different time settings? Two good articles on time issues
with Entourage that might help with your issue:
