Time To Upgrade to Office 2007; Concerns

N

Nick

Hello,

I have finally decided to upgrade to Microsoft Home and Student 2007, but I
currently have Professional 2003. Will this be a problem, that I am not
upgrading from Home and Student 2003?

Also, once Home and Student 2007 is installed, will all my current
Professional 2003 files (Word and Excel) be automatically converted into the
Office 2007 version? I have quite a few important school-related files that
would be painful to lose.

Lastly, is Home and Student 2007 compatible with Professional 2003 (I have
the older version on a different PC)? Many thanks for the aid.

Regards,

Nick

H&S versions have exactly the same components as any other year version
H&S doesnt include Outlook
If you use the upgrade option it will replace 2003 components that are
included in H&S 2007, eg Word,Excel etc and leave any remaining components,
eg Outlook
2007 versions can both read and save doc's in the old format, so no
conversion is required.
