time tracking for users

Could you tell me what is the best way to create a solution for tracking
time and work of users.

I have Project Server 2003 + SQL Server 2000SP3 + Analysis Services +
SharePoint Services 2.0

I would appreciate any link to documentation.

OlegK --

Depending on the type of projects your organization manages, you might
consider the following methodology for team members entering actual
progress:

1. On a daily basis, enter the Actual Work in the timesheet on each task to
which you are assigned
2. At the end of the reporting period (usually Friday), adjust the
Remaining Work wherever appropriate on any task for which you entered Actual
Work
3. Insert a Note on any task for which you adjusted the Remaining Work and
explain why you made the adjustment
4. Add Risks, Issues, or Documents to any task, wherever appropriate
5. Submit actual progress to your project manager at the end of each
reporting period
