Hi

I'm new to office forums, and i'm having problem with my excel sheet.

i'm trying to make a timebase sheet, which when i enter today's date and it will show the number of day left on my products.

for example:

TODAY'S DATE ENTER HERE ==> 04/10/12
YellowGreen if the products less than 120 days[/COLOR]Less Than 120 Days (10% OFF) less then 90 daysLess Than 90 Days (20% OFF)
less then 60 daysLess Than 60 Days (30%OFF) less than 30 daysless than 30 days (50%)
BARCODE Descriptions EXPIRE DATE NO. OF DAY LEFT
7/31/2013 477
4/30/2014 750
8/31/2014 873
7/31/2013 477
04/30/2012 21

once i change to today's date the NO. OF DAY LEFT will change and if they are less than whatever day that i set it automatically change to that color

I doubt Catw0327 even cares about this any more (question is over 4 years old) but I'll answer anyway for whomever may care.

Assume A1 is 7/31/2013 and B1 is 477
=TODAY()-A1 The trick here is to format the result correctly. For example:

6/15/2016 - 7/31/2013 = 11/15/1902 Changing the format of 11/15/1902 to General or Number gives us 1050. This product hasn't just expired, it's turned to dust. Can't even give it away now. o_O
