Hello,
I am trying to set up a timeline and configure the dates. When click on the
configure timeline or change date submenu nothing happens. I have used this
funcition before on this same PC. Do I need to re-install?

Make sure that Tools > Options > Advanced > Enable Automation events is
checked. If not, check it and reload your drawing.

Otherwise, try starting a new timeline diagram and copy/paste yours into it.

Thanks, I think this was the issue however if anyone else has the same
problem, the bread crumbs are Tools > Options > Security > Enable Automation.

However, I had already uninstalled and reinstalled which fixed it. I did go
back and test with the box check and uncheck and this solution works so I did
not have to reinstall.

Thanks again.

I have the same error that appears to have started after my IT department upgraded my visio from standard 2007 to profession 2007.

nothing happens when I click on configure timeline and dates no longer change when I move milestone or intervals
I have checked Tools, options, advanced, enable automation events is ticked
