I am very new to exchange administration, and have taken over the IT position
at my company. My boss began complaining today about his mail delivery being
exceptionally slow. When I checked the error message that he got, it had the
error code 0x8004210a along with a message saying the server had timed out
waiting for a response from the receiving POP3 server. He received this
message all day, although he was able to receive some messages while the
error displayed.
I've read briefly about degfragmenting the database; is that a good thing to
do in this situation? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
